NFL 2018: From the Draft to the Super Bowl

All sports. We don't even mind if its women's Curling or junior badminton. Although we won't have strong opinions on the latter.

They absolutely sucked last year and that was no fault of Gruden.

They came down from a historic season of close game wins, everyone knew they would regress in 2017. Gruden has responded by signing a bunch of washed up bums. He sucks.
Not removing until John Elway is fired.

Will they be better or worse with Gruden in 2018 than they were in 2017?

Roughly the same and they won't get much better in the future.

I kind of worry that is the case too. Feels like change for changes sake. But I’ll wait and see. However the list of changes suggests it’s going to be a rough year which really annoys me.

Didn't want to start an NHL thread for one post. :p

Went to my first hockey game, today. Most enraging/frustrating sports game I've ever went to. A lot of punk bitches on the Ducks squad. I've always known they were chippy and kind of dirty, but seeing them pull that shit live was enraging and made them drop deep into the bottom half of teams I don't like. Ryan Kesler is the biggest pussy in the game. Punched MacKinnon in the back of the head when the referee wasn't looking. Knocked his helmet off. All the Ducks would start shit with the Avalanche guys, but only our smaller guys. Then the Avs blow a 3-1 lead in the 3rd and lose in OT. Which isn't so bad, considering the hockey points system gives you two points for a win and one point for an OT loss. We actually moved up in the seeding despite the loss, but the Ducks got all the lucky bounces, their whiny ass fans are casuals who don't know shit about hockey. And they were taunting our backup goalie, our starting goalie was declared out for the season the night before the game. None of them were dicks to me or anything, but it's frustrating having to sit through all the bull shit to play out and see the casuals get what they want in the end.

The talent level across the NFC is unbelievable and the AFC will be Pats/Steelers again.

I don’t think enough attention is given to how bad the AFC is historically.

Just look at the media market imbalance. Crazy how much more revenue the NFC teams have access to.

Especially back in the day, but it evens out in Super Bowls almost.

AFC: 25
NFC: 27

AFC is really propped up by two dynasties, the Late 70's Steelers and current Pats are 9 of them.

Flacco is the one outlier in a Manning/Brady/Roethlisberger era too.

Elway has done a nice job picking up quality low price players since the last time I threatened to beat him up whilst on the internet.
