In somee ways yes. But it’s a small price to pay for my epic pension and the good hours and vacation.
i would
Me too it's the basis of switching from left to right. I work hard for what I earn and need to live and don’t want it taxed for things I don't want
I'm just tired of this pay-to-live bullshit. "money doesn't buy happiness" is such a bullshit statement, and can only come from people of privilege. Only being able to afford a dump, and can't do anything but wait until going to work to slave away again, just depressing. I don't think it's going to get any better.

Even though I'm working on my comic, I'm 99% sure it will get rejected by Image anyway, and I'm stuck self-publishing, which means only 2 people might buy it. (oh, but 13 people may "like" the post on facebook, and 4 might "like" it on instagram).

Last week, I made about $250. I transferred all of it off my money card (trying to save up so I can move, get a car, etc.) in order to pay for utilities, groceries, gas, etc. So I netted about -5$ for the week.

Been working for over a year, and I have just 1,089 saved up. Which would be, on average, rent for two months (not counting anything utilities, groceries, gas money, car payments, etc.).

I know people are tired of my politics, but there's a reason I'm a socialist. This isn't right. Not for you, not for me, and not for anyone. It should not be this hard to make a living and enjoy life, period.

And before some conservative jumps in: getting a better job would be great, but whoever happens to get the job I have now should still be able to live a decent quality life, so don't pull that shit.

I'm impressed that can net you two months, tbh. I'm one stuck jury duty away from being homeless. They don't take financial hardship serious if you're a white male. Learned that the last time.

I appreciate the thought though. I just know if I'm on my own for promotion/self publishing, it's going to mean I wasted 3+ years on this project because I'm not going to make a profit. I may not even sell enough issues on my own to offset the cost of the paper alone :P

The idea of streaming stuff on Twitch is an option, but I need to have a vocal personality while doing it, and that's not me. I have no vocal charisma. I'd be expected to talk while I draw. I'll still try it when I get it all set up though. If I get 50 followers, I can start making money on it. Alli's been Twitching her gaming for almost 2 weeks and she's up to 38 followers (last I checked).

I always wanted to use Twitch casually for gaming, but given that I have a speech impediment, as much as I want to, I don't think it'd work out.

I liked your voice on the old shows. Was unique. We should do a website where we re-dub Morgan Freeman and Sam Jackson movies in your voice. That would be awesome!

Could become a novelty. Though I imagine trolls could come in droves to mock you, but i was told that trolls are pretty highly moderated outta there, so you never know. I'm just dull as shit. Like Tobey Maguire on benedryl.

People always say that, but I have a difficult time taking that positively. My own problem, no doubt, but there you go.

I'm not Mr. Excitement myself. I just think it'd be interesting playing Minecraft, or Hearthstone, or something easy-going with one or two others watching, occasionally commenting. It's still something I may play with down the line, we'll see.

Once the decision is made, all you can do is love them and support them. Will be fine.

Our best employee made a little over $400 cash on just Saturday and Sunday last week. I would find a better job with someone who respects you, then work your butt off to make yourself valuable.

You could drop dead tomorrow and not only might Walmart not notice, but people in your own department might not even notice. Don't be a spoke on the wheel, become the hub.

Not trying to be an asshole, but you need to develop the secondary skills to monetize your primary skills. Crave does pretty well. I would say in the five years since starting, we are definitely in the top tier of similar businesses started in that span, especially considering budget. I would further suggest that we do not possess any particular skill in cooking that is not common. Our supporting skills are excellent, though.

Think of all the artists who are at your skill level or lower who make more money, then consider their secondary skill sets. That is the missing piece.

Speak sternly, coherently, confidently and powerfully. Doesn't matter what your voice sounds like at all, people will notice. In my early 20s I hated my voice. I have the same voice today, but I appreciate it now. It's not the voice you speak with, it's how you speak.

They did a great job with the retro look of the art.
