are there no conservatives with wacky stupid points of view? probably even similar to what you've laid out, against sanger?

When considering her intent, let's consider the actual correspondence taking place . . .

Re: Blexit
You are a black person. How you feelin' when a half crazy white woman starts talking about eugenics? Starts talking about banning people from places that are less desirable and have trouble assimilating? Starts talking about segregation to supervised work farms?
Who exactly do you think she is talking about?
Who exactly do you think she is talking about?
Re: Blexit
is that a real quote? i'm gonna have to look at the context of that. cause again, she opposed abortion.Foo wrote:"The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it."

"MOTHERS! / Can you afford to have a large family? / Do you want any more children? / If not, why do you have them? / DO NOT KILL, / DO NOT TAKE LIFE / BUT PREVENT / Safe, Harmless Information can be obtained of trained nurses at / 46 AMBOY STREET." <-- and this directly contradicts that above quote. (if it is an actual quote from her)

This thread is a cautionary tale on how NOT to study history. The meme-ification of it all is a sad reality.

You should take time to read the section that quote is included in. Doesn't do much good to pull quotes out of thin air.Foo wrote:Her book:Headhunter wrote:What is the primary source of this quote?Foo wrote:"The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it."

and it's also served as diversion from where we actually started. if blexit wanted to be honest, they would show fault in both sides. they want to create a narrative of their own, not help people to think for themselves.

If black people find themselves disillusioned with the modern Democratic Party, that is fine. It's NOT acceptable for this movement to be peddling the garbage they are on their website because less educated people will eat it up. So I wanted to focus on exposing their messaging, because messaging is important.zombie wrote:fair point.Headhunter wrote:This thread is a cautionary tale on how NOT to study history. The problem is that you believe there are only two sides. Where does Blexit say to become a repubican? Kanye just gave a bunch of money to a Democrat.zombie wrote:fair point.Headhunter wrote:This thread is a cautionary tale on how NOT to study history. The meme-ification of it all is a sad reality.

Would you care to explain your quote given the fact that black people with a college education voted for Trump at a much higher rate than those who do not?Headhunter wrote:If black people find themselves disillusioned with the modern Democratic Party, that is fine. yeah, i said earlier in the thread that i don't mind them voting republican if the candidate's values are the best fit to their own.Headhunter wrote:If black people find themselves disillusioned with the modern Democratic Party, that is fine. Re: Blexit
By the way, the "merciful thing to do" quote is pretty clearly hyperbole in the context of that entire chapter. Not a particularly unique literary device, but it is effective. Since we're talking about it many generations later.

Re: Blexit
That has exactly zero relevance to what I said. Maybe I should have said "less informed". The bullshit they are peddling in that section of the website will be eaten up by gullible people. It's indefensible.Foo wrote:Would you care to explain your quote given the fact that black people with a college education voted for Trump at a much higher rate than those who do not?Headhunter wrote:If black people find themselves disillusioned with the modern Democratic Party, that is fine. You obviously have no problem voting Democrat regardless of their values.zombie wrote:yeah, i said earlier in the thread that i don't mind them voting republican if the candidate's values are the best fit to their own.Headhunter wrote:If black people find themselves disillusioned with the modern Democratic Party, that is fine. i don't care what they become, as long as it's honest. you don't want liberals to lie or manipulate for political gain. i think that should be taken across the whole spectrum.
