Duke/Kentucky

Doesn't look like Kentucky will hold the #2 spot for long. Down 17 at the half.

Finishing up The Haunting of Hill House.

Doesn't live up to the hype, but is good. It doesn't suffer The Babadook effect :P

I think 10 hour+ episodes. There's a lot of filler to start, but it does lead somewhere eventually. Definitely don't expect a real adaption, it's a total reworking/blend.

Wayne's World.

Tomorrow night ...Death Sentence! This better be fucking good. But in almost 9 years of being a member of this awesome message board, you fuckers are usually spot on.

Don't want to overhype it, but Death Sentence is probably one of my favorite movies of the 2000s. I saw it in theaters when it came out, knowing next to nothing about the movie. Just that Kevin Bacon was in it. I think that helped with the enjoyment of it. It was really a great movie.

Goddamnit. I am sitting on this movie right now. I promised Amber I'd watch it with her. And Kevin Bacon is always good. He was sooooooo good in Sleepers.

I need to come up with my own top 5 Kevin Bacon movies. If I didn't play the guitar and in a band, I would be able to full fill all of my movie watching duties.

Would love to see the top 5.

Don't know how I'd go about it. Top 5 Bacon movies as in roles? Performances? Or just best movies he's actually in?

Death Sentence would be top 5 in all three categories.

Wayne's World is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, btw. One of the earliest movies I remember ever watching. I remember being really young watching that movie, Child's Play and The Silence of the Lambs. lol.

I was thinking performance. He was so good in Sleepers. I remember thinking he was great in Stir of Echoes, but I haven't seen that movie since like 2003 or some shit. My tastes have changed.

Sleepers is up there. Mystic River or Death Sentence would probably be my #1 unless there's one I really like of his that I can't think of.

Based on performance only, Hollow Man would definitely be a contender. However, i wouldn't call that a good movie :P

White Water Summer, Bacon was a great hard ass who taught those boys to become men, in a much different way than Sleepers!

I like White Water Summer, lol. It was the first sign of him being excellent at a psycho, even if they didn't intend on him being one :P
