Is it supposed to be very horror-y? Seems like the first trailers for a lot of these movies sell the horror to an extent that the movie never lives up to.

The article I read sold it as a superhero-horror movie. Probably starts out like the typical comic book movie before taking a dark turn. Hopefully, it'll go full on horror with some decent gore.
