Yup. Oscars will be worse for it as he’s a funny guy. He amused me.Reign in Blood wrote:So should he give his left nut in sacrifice to pacify libs?
But you're right, he can't demand them to accept anything. And he's given the big fuck you, dig it. Despite libs crushing his dreams.

I guess the conversation I wanted to have but was already given the answer, there is no redemption in modern society.

He already apologized. I'm sure the only thing good enough for the trolls is if he was on Facebook Live wearing fairy wings sucking dick with a poster of the Jew hater Nelson Mandela in the background. They'd forgive him then.Reign in Blood wrote:I guess the conversation I wanted to have but was already given the answer, there is no redemption in modern society.

It's funny because my wife is now a freelance makelup artist. All of her male co workers are gay. Shes had the discussion with all of them regarding Kevin Hart. None of them condemned him. We can't let these trolls win.

I’m not understanding the despair by Reign. This is surely a good thing.

Yup. Trolls are the worst. To me, it's entertainment (reading it). But they can wreck someone's life permanently. I will kneel before every rainbow flag for Kevin Hart!DancesWithWerewolves wrote:How? 1. People should stop saying their words were "Mistakes"
2. People should stop with the bullshit of "Learning" and "Evolving" to bow to leftists
3. People need to start telling others: "Go fuck yourself, it is my opinion and I stand by it."
And then EVERYONE needs to rally around freedom of thought and expression. Nothing Kevin Hart said was bad. Apologizing should have never been on the table.
What I would say is, "I said some stuff in the past about gays that these people do not like. This organization is run by militant gays. Apparently they were unaware of my viewpoints when they hired me. Now they are and they are firing me.". Truthful and to the point.

And I don't have a problem with that organization firing him or not hiring him, it is completely their choice. My problem is actually the threat of him getting blackballed.
Re: Liberals and the Manufactured Divide
And let's be 100% real. It is not what he said, it is what he said AND not being an outspoken Democrat.
Alec Baldwin and others who have said far worse, are still embraced because they are politically active Democrats.

Also, the Oscars have totally ruined their brand with bias anyway. Now that folks understand that certain films and individuals are excluded from nominations based on factors outside of the work itself, the whole thing feels pretty hollow.
Re: Liberals and the Manufactured Divide
folks hold their opinions in such high regard that awards shows better reflect that or else they're just bias and irrelevant garbage.Foo wrote:Also, the Oscars have totally ruined their brand with bias anyway. I never minded artsy fartsy stuff winning that I would never watch. I felt the process still had credibility. I can appreciate things I do not like.zombie wrote:folks hold their opinions in such high regard that awards shows better reflect that or else they're just bias and irrelevant garbage.Foo wrote:Also, the Oscars have totally ruined their brand with bias anyway. Holding a phony awards competition has little value. It is not "Best Picture" any more. It is "Best Picture that meets several criteria that we do not disclose from a limited field".
Re: Liberals and the Manufactured Divide
if they pander or sacrifice their values for an agenda, or for viewership, then that's phony. i can agree to that. which artsy fartsy films that you'll never watch should be up for best picture?Foo wrote:I never minded artsy fartsy stuff winning that I would never watch.
