It's the only book I've ever read that makes me feel dread every single time. I always hope that somehow Lou will run a little faster this time. Course it wouldn't be much of a book if he did.Tiggnutz wrote:The last 50 pages of Pet Semetary had me on edge totally gripped even though I knew what was going to happen.Monster wrote:Those are my two favorite books over all.Tiggnutz wrote:Finished Pet Semetary last night. As of now it's my favorite Stephen King book and near the top of all books I have ever read. I ordered "IT" should have it by Tuesday next week.

Re: What Are You Reading
Probably read IT and The Stand back to back so that should leave me crazy, blind or both
Re: What Are You Reading
You're in for a treat if you've never read those before. The word epic gets thrown around a lot but The Stand truly is epic.

Addictive. That and The Stand are just so...filling.Tiggnutz wrote:This book is good as fuck
Just stared David Morell's Creepers. He's on my new-to-me authors... and I'm already thinking "where has this guy's work been all my life?" Killer first section, just implying atmosphere. I knew he wrote the book for First Blood, but outside that he never registered to me. First two pages of Creepers is the best of my 2019 mission of 6 books by new-to-me authors so far. Hope it keeps up.
