I rather enjoyed that. Looks to be a fun ride. I'll definitely be seeing it in theaters, probably not opening night (depending on my work schedule), but shortly thereafter.

Interesting they went for an extended scene for the teaser trailer. Looks great though. Hopefully doesn't crash into mediocrity like Pet Semetary did.

Dig it. Same as D where I thought that was an interesting choice to do the extended scene for the trailer, and one similar to the scene from the first flick.

I'm hearing it'll have a run time of 2 hours and 45 minutes. Awesome.

Nice.

I'm booked Friday night. Given I get up early, I didn't want to watch a near 3 hour movie in the evening (plus trailers) only to wake up ass crack early the next day :P

There are 3 main theaters near me. 2 are Cinemark, one is a local theater about a 2 minute drive from my house. We have another cinemark, but it's a dollar theater and shows old movies that just left the main theaters. But there is an AMC a little further away, maybe 8 miles away or so a little deeper into the desert. Not many people go to that one, and it's actually how I ended up getting to see the opening showing of IT in 2017. For big name movies that just released that I want to go see, I go to that AMC theater because nobody really goes there or knows about it.

Interested in everyone's thoughts, as I'll be waiting for the theater to thin out a bit over the next few weeks before going. We all know Seb is biased for all things Swede, so he's guaranteed to love it. :p

Bill Hader has apparently got acting chops. Legend.

I won’t spoil anything for anyone but I think the story and acting are incredible. I feel like some CGI just isn’t as good as it should be. But I still loved it overall. Think it did a great job with the story.

And yes, Skarsgård steals the show in every scene he’s in. Because Sweden.

I've been hearing Oscar level praise for Hader over this. Curious just how good he is in it.

Overall, I'm not expecting it being better than the first part. The kid half was always better in both the book and miniseries (by a wide margin there), so I'd be incredibly surprised if this one's better.
