Seeing them back to back I think the first is probably better than the second. ButHader blew me away and Skarsgård continues to be an excellent villain here. I think the other thing that I loved is how well it weaves a story from the first into this second film. I wasn’t expecting that. In that sense it took a delightful angle on it.

Though I don’t know the original story so I don’t know how the second half SHOULD play out. But I was impressed.

Had an IT/Stranger Things moment. On bus heading home and without realizing, the bus is suddenly empty. Most amused.

I was a young teen, maybe younger, when I first watched the original IT. I went outside after the movie and a red balloon floated into the yard.

I had a few issues with it . I thought some parts were pretty hokey . I didn't feel the connections between characters as I did with the first one. I thought the only one who really came close was Bill Hader but the whole ending with Eddie was a little irritating . I also think they got weak with Pennywise. Wasn't much of a fight in the end
I liked it but I think the first one was a lot better

Bill Hader ruled.

I wish Tim Curry's Pennywise could have been spliced in.

No shit, but I used to kinda know him. He worked at the same movie theater as a friend of mine.
