okay. fair enough. i'm not always the biggest fan of some very highly acclaimed films too, so not to worry.Jigsaw wrote:I recognize the name, but I can't think of any movies the guy did. Goodfellas and Casino transcend film tastes IMO. They're just fun stories.

Hey you! So good to see you around. Sometimes the peace and quiet to yourself is what you need. I have decided this 1984 season of AHS will be my first go of that series, looking forward to it based on what you and Tigg have said.Ava wrote:Hiya Reign! I had six glorious hours of quiet and the house to myself. *sigh of happiness* Did watch The House Bunny (I adore Anna Faris lately because she craps me up on that tv show MOM) and the first episode of American Horror Story 1984 show. Enjoyed the nods to horror movies and the music but hoping the next few episodes are better storywise. Guy in the shorts was interesting.Reign in Blood wrote:Do anything fun?Ava wrote:Indeed it is!

I'm also intrigued by 1984 and I haven't watched since Asylum. Good move to get the HMF demographic watching.

Re: September 25th 2019
Not my main interest. I'm primarily a horror fan, and other movies always come second to me. I had HMF make a list of non-horror films I should watch (which is a list I still should have, on a side-note), but I never really wanted to focus only on those films at the expense of horror, especially when there's still literally thousands of horror movies out there I still want to see.Ava wrote:Wow. The original from 1962, yes. The remake, no. The original's in my top 10 non-horror from the 1960's, though. Great film. Heard positive things about the remake, but haven't seen it.Monster wrote:Tell me you've at least seen Cape Fear.
