He was improv'ing tons in this movie. It seems like Scorsese was letting a lot of the actors take it up several notches. DiCaprio kinda plays it straight.

I don't know, it started with Gangs but that was a period piece, but this is the first role where Leo, well didn't play a total pussy, and it shows he's still finding his bearings around the other types.

Did not notice that Frank/Jack's mugshot earlier in the film, is the same mugshot of Jack in Batman (1989).

I don't think Baldwin gets enough credit for this movie, but then it is crowded with excellent turns.
