Re: What are you watching?
I will be watching Discovery ID channel tonight at 8pm eastern time. Yall should try and check it out. It's about a girl I went to high school with. She was a year or two under me. She was shot in the face, by her ex husband. She obviously survived. I've talked to her through facebook messenger a few times. She wont tell me her ex's name. She said I might have been friends with the guy. I'm intrigued to know who it is. I think his last name might be Conrad. I hung out and partied with a lot of Conrad's in high school.
Anyway, you will probably see my old high school. I still live only about 15 minutes away.

Texas Rising
Finally get to watch this, Amazon Prime has it up. One of the last things Bill Paxton filmed.

Holy shit, Bill Paxton is actually related to General Sam Houston (who he plays), a second cousin 4 times removed (or 5 times great grandparents). That's awesome.

I am mildly annoyed none of the landscape looks at all like central Texas where this takes place. It's like West/El Paso area at best.

Wasn't expecting Crispin Glover in this, among other names. Jonathan Schaech, Brendan Frasier, Courtney Gains, Ray Liotta, Jeff Fahey...

1917
10/10 moviegoing experience. In itself, it's a pretty good film. Will be curious to see how it holds up when some of the novelty wears off but I'm so glad I didn't wait until this was out of theaters. It does bug me that this is going to get the Best Picture award Dunkirk probably deserved two years ago.

Werd. It even went up a notch on my 2019 list on my 2nd viewing, 2nd place behind only Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, and even that's really close.Headhunter wrote:1917

Sex Education season 2. Great fun although also quite a sad season in some ways. Think they stepped it up a notch. Very enjoyable.

Watched Happy Merry Whatever
Man, if someone wrote a silly comedy with the explicit purpose of annoying Jason, this might be it.
