You know I will. Ceri able to be out of bed today so “turned the corner” as it were. Consistent with other people online and their experience. Which is good as I’m getting increasingly rough feeling. Sucks balls. But I got Disney Plus working on my phone, Ceri’s phone and one iPad. Plus on the PS4. Gonna do some Star Wars watching I reckon but may also dip into classics they have on there. Roger Rabbit looked the part.Tiggnutz wrote:Seb you probably have tons on your mind but keep us updated on you and Ciri and the rest of your family I know all of HMF have you all in our thoughts

Re: March 25th 2020
Just watched a really bad video on youtube called "10 Disgusting Horror Movies You Watch And Then NEVER Forget"(don't want to link it, because I don't want to give them the views). The films were Hostel, Martyrs(the remake), one of the later Saw films, Raw, Starry Eyes, Green Room, Last House on the Left(original), Imprint(not a movie, but ok), Audition, TCM(original). Outside of Last House, Audition, and TCM, the list is kinda shit. I don't remember much about any of the other films, because they were nothing special and there are far more memorable films out there. They even compared Green Room to Last House, as if it was on the same level. This is why I don't like horror lists.
Re: March 25th 2020
everyone's opinion is gonna be different. weird that they included the martyrs remake and a saw sequel, rather than the originals though.

Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one, and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.zombie wrote:everyone's opinion is gonna be different. weird that they included the martyrs remake and a saw sequel, rather than the originals though.

For levity.

Re: March 25th 2020
Gross and unforgettable, off the top of my head? A Serbian Film, Cannibal Holocaust, Guinea Pig: Flower of Flesh and Blood(or maybe Mermaid in a Manhole), Dead Alive, Nekromantik, Entrails of a Beautiful Woman, Meatball Machine, Street Trash, Ichi, and, I dunno, Body Melt? I'd find it difficult to forget any of these.zombie wrote:em. i don't know. what would your ten be?
Re: March 25th 2020
Work unemployment update.
They rejected my unemployment claim as I mentioned, so I filed an appeal. They denied the appeal and won't even give me a hearing. The unemployment offices sent me a copy of the company's statement. They said that my plant manager inspected the incident in question and that is how they determined I should be fired. I was working out of a completely different plant about 40 miles away from my home plant. Whenever there is an incident, plant managers don't inspect incidents in question, it immediately goes to whatever plant my concrete was loaded out of. So they flat out lied to the unemployment offices. I am fucking stunned.

Bummer. People are asshats, sorry you gotta deal with that shit now. I checked mine again, and I'm denied because apparently only employment prior to September of 2019 is eligible. Fuck me, I guess.Jason wrote:Work unemployment update...

that's a pretty good list. i don't know everything i'd include, but human centipede would make the cut, somewhere. even if i'd rather forget it.Slaughterhouserock wrote:Gross and unforgettable, off the top of my head? It's bizarre how unemployment works. I looked into it and apparently it's entirely provided by the employer. Looks like we don't pay into it.Slaughterhouserock wrote:Bummer. As I said before, I don't necessarily need the money, but it'd be nice to have. Especially now with this virus spreading throughout the world, makes it harder to get a job right now. I'm just enraged, because I slaved my life away to this company and they do me like this. The last conversation I had on my work radio with another driver was him thanking me and telling me he had no idea what he would've done if I weren't there for him when he wasn't sure what to do. He'd been there for less than a year. The company treating my like this is really damaging to an employee's work ethic. Why work so hard and bring you millions when you're gonna treat me like this, anyway? It's gross.
