Not fond of the eyes, they seem odd and I can't peg exactly why (I've measured, they are technically proportionate), but all of Rhonda's reference pictures I could find were bad and/or low resolution, and I am trying to turn these out quick so I couldn't take the time to dwell too heavily on it. *shrug*

It’s still very cool. Can’t do anything like it myself. Although I did sheepishly think it was Sarah Palin at first glance.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Not fond of the eyes, they seem odd and I can't peg exactly why (I've measured, they are technically proportionate), but all of Rhonda's reference pictures I could find were bad and/or low resolution, and I am trying to turn these out quick so I couldn't take the time to dwell too heavily on it. *shrug*

News to Sweden once again. Though give your extensive knowledge of Sweden and repeated visits and many friends and family who live there I have no reason to doubt your assessment.Jason wrote:Sweden has become a hellhole, unfortunately.showa58taro wrote:There are? Sweden did handle this situation rather horribly.
Sweden also isn’t really socialist. All those European countries are capitalist.

So? England is his city. :pzombie wrote:he has lots of american friends. and a sister who lives here, if i'm not mistaken.
The idea that knowledge of the way a country operates is irrelevant because you don't have friends who live there is nonsense.

It does make a big difference to experience a foreign country. You understand what the day to day atmosphere is like.

On the ground, I can’t supply much anecdotally. But it’s hardly the same issue. Your politics are everywhere as are your news, TV and social media. I can’t see you reading Swedish news or listening to Swedish political shows.Jason wrote:I guess you can't comment on America anymore then.showa58taro wrote:News to Sweden once again. What was the rationale for keeping things open in Sweden? Would have never guessed they'd do that.

Yup, fairly true. Social democracies, but definitely more to the left than the average in a modern context.Headhunter wrote:Sweden did handle this situation rather horribly.

Sweden should be Jason’s dream. Going for the burn through option he do loves. Hellhole indeed.

This was an interesting take on this. Sweden is relatively well placed in some regards to not over engineer a solution. And it’s very transparent. But I’m not clear it’s a good plan personally. But they aren’t blundering into it.
