Yeah, they're both fun. I think the sequel took some shit for not having a real antagonist. Ghost was more of a speed-bump in the actual plot. But I still enjoyed the movie enough. Like the bulk of Marvel's output, they have a pop-friendly formula.

300 and Watchmen were in the mixed category.
Lol I can see Watchmen being divisive but what was the problem with 300? Did they understand it’s not supposed to be Ben-Hur or Spartacus?
I don't remember. I just remember being surprised because of all the buzz it had (word of mouth), then I saw the RT score only a couple years ago and was like, "huh?". I didn't dive in on reading. I was already annoyed with RT at that point for getting exposed for fudging their numbers.
The biggest problem with critics is judging everything on the same scale with the same criteria. It’s tone deaf as fuck. Movies should be judged by how successful they are in becoming what they’re supposed to be. Critical reviews of comedy, horror and action almost never age well.
Not removing until John Elway is fired.

Got the real Shudder signed up, and the app on the Firecube. The interface is VERY different than the Prime version.

Never have seen the third Exorcist. Next time I watch the first one, I'll actually go through the whole series, I promise. :P

Praise the Lord you haven't seen the second. What a clusterfuck that was (and this comes from someone who didn't love the first).

I've not seen either prequel, and I highly doubt I'll enjoy them when I get there. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. :P

1 and 3 are the only ones worth note (and both are excellent). 2 is not as bad as its reputation claims, but still bad lol. 4 might've been pretty good had the proper budget allowed either director (it was basically shot twice) to finish the FX work, but the FX are pretty bad and the only thing that stands out as good is Stellan as a young Father Merrin.

But 1 and 3 are the ones based off of Friedkin's books, and Friedkin directed the 3rd film, so it's not *that* surprising why they're significantly better lol

I bought a new car today. Been searching for a few years now and found one at a pretty solid price and still under warranty. It's basically brand new, even though it's used with just one previous owner.
