I still need to get around to doing that. I remember liking the remake pretty decently, but wasn't blown away.Tiggnutz wrote:First time watching the OG The Crazies

Didn't intend on Hunter's Moon to be both my 28th werewolf movie, as well as my 28th new-to-me film

Though, if it turns out not to be a werewolf movie, it's going to ruin that beautiful sync-up.Jmac Attack wrote:NoiceDancesWithWerewolves wrote:Didn't intend on Hunter's Moon to be both my 28th werewolf movie, as well as my 28th new-to-me film

Never seen the 1999 House on Haunted Hill.
....until now.
The 1959 version is an easy 10/10, so I'll be interested to see how utterly terrible this version is. As long as it's better than Thir13en Ghosts (2001), that's all I ask for.

Been kinda wanting to revisit the remake. The 59 is a fun classic, but I don't remember liking the remake.Jigsaw wrote:Never seen the 1999 House on Haunted Hill.

However, based on memory, I do recall liking Thirt13n Ghosts (2001) much more than House on Haunted Hill (1999) so....that might not bode well for ya

Deeeeefinitely a werewolf movie. Cheap looking FX suit, but that's par for the course lately, and there's been worse in this challenge alone.Jmac Attack wrote:Drats..DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Though, if it turns out not to be a werewolf movie, it's going to ruin that beautiful sync-up.Jmac Attack wrote:NoiceDancesWithWerewolves wrote:Didn't intend on Hunter's Moon to be both my 28th werewolf movie, as well as my 28th new-to-me film

Checking out Look Away.
The main girl is really pretty.

Feels like a horror comedy to me.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Also never seen it, but wasn't aware it was horror either. Is it? I thought it was a ground-level War of the Worlds type of sci fi flick.Tiggnutz wrote:I've never seen thatMonster wrote:Attack The Block

Gonna try and watch Only Lovers Left Alive (2013), in a few. Hope I can find it on my jailbroken Firestick.

It's strange not hearing Jason Issacs doing a British accent.

I think the 1999 House on Haunted Hill is marginally better than the 2001 Thir13en Ghosts, but it's a close call. Neither one's great.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:However, based on memory, I do recall liking Thirt13n Ghosts (2001) much more than House on Haunted Hill (1999) so....that might not bode well for ya
