That one and part 4 are the best. I always watch them together.Jigsaw wrote:Going with Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985), one of the most misaligned Friday movies for the worst reasons.

Did you ever listen to the interview we did with the Director of You're Not Getting Out Alive?Jigsaw wrote:Also wanted to give a late shout-out to havok, who, in his kindness, made is possible for me to watch both Camp Hideaway Massacre and You're Not Getting Out Alive, You're Not Getting Out Alive being my favorite of the two.

Thanks, I was thinking of what I can replace "Wolves" with since it's now not available on Prime.Havok wrote:Hey D, I think I found another werewolf movie for you.

No, but now that I've seen the movie, I'll do so next month.Havok wrote:Did you ever listen to the interview we did with the Director of You're Not Getting Out Alive?Jigsaw wrote:Also wanted to give a late shout-out to havok, who, in his kindness, made is possible for me to watch both Camp Hideaway Massacre and You're Not Getting Out Alive, You're Not Getting Out Alive being my favorite of the two.

Watching Argento's Opera (1987) for the first time. Next expecting something up to Deep Red's level, but competing with Inferno would be nice.

Really the first time I'm shocked. I love itJigsaw wrote:Watching Argento's Opera (1987) for the first time. Next expecting something up to Deep Red's level, but competing with Inferno would be nice.

opera is on the level of phenomena or tenebrae. but then i don't take inferno as anything near a favorite. so maybe we're not on the same argento scale.Jigsaw wrote:Watching Argento's Opera (1987) for the first time. Opera is Argento's last good film as far as I'm concerned, and it's damned good. Also, Steel Grave on the soundtrack, so good.Jigsaw wrote:Watching Argento's Opera (1987) for the first time. Next expecting something up to Deep Red's level, but competing with Inferno would be nice.

This might actually be pretty good if I gave a rat's ass about any of the characters. Every confession just makes me go, "so what?"DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Checking out The Cleansing Hour on Shudder.

Re: October Challenge 2020 Discussion Thread
I enjoyed it a decent amount (though the ending was a tad jarring). There are a few bigger horror films I've not seen yet, Opera was one that's been on my radar for a while. Glad to have finally seen it.Tiggnutz wrote:Really the first time I'm shocked. I love itJigsaw wrote:Watching Argento's Opera (1987) for the first time.
