It’s like actual policy doesn’t matter, just the donkey elephant split.
There’s a serious resentment from uneducated rural whites toward what they perceive to be arrogant elitist liberals. And they more or less just want to piss those people off.

I just can’t understand how they don’t put together their own woes and lack of support and safety nets as emblematic of a problem.
This election would be over if Trump and his goons didn’t work to sabotage the postal service and if they allowed these battleground states to count mail-ins early. Republicans blocked any early counting in these states, then disingenuously freaked out when they weren’t done on election night. Very deliberate. Scumbags.

My favorite is "the libs have rigged everything"! Ummmmm.....yeah.....they wanted Mitch McConnell to win again. 40 years representing a state that is the poorest, and remains the poorest. He's done wonders! Lol
Lmao Trump called Murdoch last night to cry about Fox calling Arizona. Murdoch basically told him to fuck off. He’s got no more use for you, Donald. All the Republican rats are jumping ship quickly. Only Trump, his dipshit family and the dumbass cult that loves him will be left. And the state of New York is about to take a hammer to his criminally run business empire. Immunity expires soon, bitch.
Lol. Remember Steve Bannon? He was on some radio program today, literally fantasizing about murdering Dr. Fauci and the FBI Director and hanging their heads.
I worry about right wing violence from the MAGAs with Trump convincing these idiots that there is mass election fraud. Already seen an attempted attack on a Philadelphia voting location tonight. As it gets worse, angry MAGAs will lash out.
This country may be even more divided today than it was on Monday.
Trump was always going to Trump. The disappointment (and it’s barely disappointing) is why more actual Republicans who now know they have to work with Biden, would be so inclined to keep agreeing about this bullshit. He’s not going to win all the remaining states, where it’s obvious Biden either already leads as they wait for blue area votes, like in Las Vegas in NV or Phoenix, AZ, or is only trailing a bit with votes still to come, line Philadelphia in PA or Atlanta in GA finalizing their counts. At the minute projections is a Biden win in all four of them. AZ by a big ish margin, Nevada by a decent one, PA by up to 175k according to some, and GA by a thin thin margin. But all of them doable. Even NC isn’t outside the realm of possibility although less likely than others. Which tbh if it does go that way then it nearly is the repudiation I wanted to have.
But at this point I just want eithe PA or NV+AZ to be called so it’s officially over. Would be great to see Trump not have anywhere to run.
Also a nice bit of irony, they only so far found one instance of attempted voter fraud, and it was a Trump supporter attempting to vote twice and failing, because in person fraud is very hard to perpetrate and increasingly easy to identify.

The Phoenix thing is deceptive. Unlike most of these other states the late mail ins there are mostly Republican. They’ve had mail in for a long time there and a lot of Republicans use it. It does look like Trump won’t be able to close it enough, just not big enough gains.
North Carolina is likely out of reach but could come within 0.5%. Not that Florida or Texas are likely but I am interested in seeing how close the final margins are. And when California finishes counting (they take their time since it’s inconsequential to election), Biden’s popular vote lead will be enormous.

Yet my neighbors in my city are actually believing their dead relatives have votes that are counting (my area tends to lean more conservative), just because the Commander in Cheetodust says so.
I'm not gonna read 10's of pages back to catchup, but this election counting made an exception to come back in here
I was thrilled this morning seeing Penn and Georgia flip. Still "too tight" to call, but now Biden's got 4 states, which can put him at a total of 306 electoral college votes if he gets all 4.
