Not sure which socialist candidate is supposed to win the Michigan farmer vote. Biden did fine in the Midwest. Rural America is getting more red. That’s no secret. Getting the Midwest back at all is a win.

okay. maybe biden's support was hyped more than was actually there. now the support he does have is viewed to be illegitimate and unconstitutional. fox news even calling out republican or conservative politicians that don't back up trump as being against the american people. it's all designed to justify anything that trump and his followers want to do. that is where the problem is.Jigsaw wrote:Just mocking the Democratic Party who thought that this election would have been a blow-out (look at the senate seats they were hoping to get, such as McGrath). Many of the Democrats I know will be delighted once Biden is announced the winner, and almost none of them will realize just how utterly damning this election was for the party. And sure, Biden got more support than Hawkins, but no one was going around saying that Hawkins would win with 55% of the vote like some Democrats said about Biden. It's more the failed expectations I'm mocking than the amount of actual votes.

Maybe, That’s all speculative. You give up Florida ever running Bernie or someone that left but obviously they can survive that. Biden won. He did what he needed to do. And I was very skeptical. Don't disagree with any of that, mostly. I have no problem with Biden's support being legitimate. I just found the results he got absolutely laughable and damning to the Democratic Party, and I don't for one second believe the Democratic Party will really look into why they did so pathetically (much like how they never understood the 2016 results).zombie wrote:okay. maybe biden's support was hyped more than was actually there. now the support he does have is viewed to be illegitimate and unconstitutional. fox news even calling out republican or conservative politicians that don't back up trump as being against the american people. it's all designed to justify anything that trump and his followers want to do. that is where the problem is.Jigsaw wrote:Just mocking the Democratic Party who thought that this election would have been a blow-out (look at the senate seats they were hoping to get, such as McGrath). If someone ever tells you third parties don't win, just call them the liars that they are. Happy for the Green Party, and hope for more success in the coming years against the corrupt Democratic and Republican Parties.

It's not a legitimate complaint that Democrats are throwing the left under the bus? Because that seems to be exactly what's been going on for years. And if you can't see how terrible these results were for the Democrats, then you're likely in for a nasty shock in the years to come, because, as I said, these results, especially given the COVID situation, were 100% damning to the party.Headhunter wrote:Those aren’t legitimate complaints. I get it though. I enjoy laughing at the MAGAs and celebrating their failures and misery. But, sorry, you’re not winning here, man. Nobody cares how many votes he needed in the few competitive states in our antiquated electoral system, a win is a win.

Soooo...you’re mocking the Democrats for only winning swing states by thousands (in an electoral system I’m certain you think is stupid) while the majority of American voters and the highest total ever voted for Joe. I’m not talking about congressional races. I’m talking about getting rid of Trump. I realize you only hate the Democrats and we can only talk about how horrible they are.

I also hate the Republicans, and I'll be happy to talk about how horrible they are, but I'm not going to pretend that the Democrats are much better in the long-scheme of things. The two-party system will destroy this planet. And Democrats are 100% complicit in that, as are the Republicans. Neither serves my interests, and it'd be nice to Democratic voters would be capable of understanding that mindset instead of shutting down and whining about "wasted votes."

Every apparatus of the government is without question better off without Trump and his cronies dismantling them. This is not partisan politics. i think it's beyond trying to reason or "make them come to grips with reality". when you label even members of your own party as anti-american (basically) and everyone else as cannibal pedophiles. i don't think there's much coming back down from that.Headhunter wrote:Well I’ve been ringing the bells on this insane president from day one. Too much internet time, not enough critical thinking skills. Nowadays any person with internet access can “know a lot” about something, but nobody is going to tell you when that something is bullshit. These people have built their identities around worshipping Donald Trump and doing everything possible to justify and a even lionize his behavior. There’s nothing they won’t believe if it benefits Trump.zombie wrote:i think it's beyond trying to reason or "make them come to grips with reality". when you label even members of your own party as anti-american (basically) and everyone else as cannibal pedophiles. i don't think there's much come back down from that.Headhunter wrote:Well I’ve been ringing the bells on this insane president from day one.
