And yeah, if they get this stop, they can win in regulation. That’s the upside. But that doesn’t make it a good decision.

I hate that we didn’t get that do or die 4th down play. Hate it so much. It’s so fucking gutless.

Didn’t even make it enough to make it a 3 point game so they only needed a stop and FG. just bizarre.

Especially when GB has had a superb red zone TD rate this year. That’s where you cop out. Incredible.

Re: NFL Discussion: 2020 Season
There have been a couple punts in these playoffs that bothered me: Vrabel and Tomlin in fourth quarter of trailing games.
At no point did I think a FG was an option for GB. It’s the shittiest thing I’ve ever seen and ruined a great game.

Re: NFL Discussion: 2020 Season
Every statistical analysis you will ever read tells you that coaches NEED to go for it on 4th down more to optimize their chances of winning. For years they’ve been clear about this. And in that spot, the coach takes 3 and bets on his defense

I couldn't handle being a Packers fan right now and having the season end like that. Damn

Anyone else hate kicking it on 4th and short from 50+ yards? Just seems like a low upside play.

Just feels like Rodgers deserves better. Trust your stars in that situation. Instead Rodgers now 1-4 in Divisional championship games.Tiggnutz wrote:I couldn't handle being a Packers fan right now and having the season end like that. Damn

Re: NFL Discussion: 2020 Season
In general I’d think the go-for-it play is better, but in this kind of game points might help, and give you a psychological boost. Young QB, having a lead might boost you. Fail to convert and head might drop.

He rally I think there’s more upside to keep a drive going. But as I said above, on this o e I think it might do their nerves more good than anything.Headhunter wrote:Yeah. Yeah not an easy kick though. As it’s played out here, having the ball with the opening points in your pocket helps, I’d have gone for it personally.showa58taro wrote:He rally I think there’s more upside to keep a drive going.
