Re: NFL Discussion: 2020 Season
He was already the GOAT. Is he in Gretzky/Jordan/Tiger tier now? Those guys were just so much better than anyone they competed with. Brady had guys who were at his level in Manning and Rodgers but he has more rings than any single franchise lmfao

More rings than the Steelers as a franchise. What a nonsense.

The way Mahomes plays he has no shot of having the kind of longevity of guys like Brady and Brees. I fucking hate the Chiefs and I felt for Mahomes tonight. Felt like every lineman was getting destroyed every play, and he was still making insane throws while getting his ass kicked. Kinda young Elway-esque.

This is true. The decline for athletic QBs is way more pronounced than a pocket passer.
You felt for Romo trying desperately to keep it interesting despite sensing it was over.

Lol that was kind of a weird game for Romo, topped off with his really bizarrely over the top indignance about Winfield chucking the deuces in Tyreek Hill’s face, which was objectively a terrific Super Bowl moment.

There was a lot of moments like that for sure. I liked the two fingers thing. Thought it showed spirit.

Eternal question now remains, did Tampa due to Mahomie what Von did to Newton? Bring me his soul.

Re: NFL Discussion: 2020 Season
We can dream. Cam was never going to play well into his 30s the way he played, and at this rate Mahomes will need to rein it in to avoid the same fate.
More realistic but still offering hope: that Mahomes deal blows up pretty soon, Kelce is entering his 30s and they’ve drafted poorly under their new GM. It’s not crazy to think we’ve seen the best of this KC run already. They’ll still be in the mix having Mahomes but they’ll probably never be able to build a powerhouse around him again

Mahomie and his whole family are already dejected off the grid, by the refs, the media, the coaches, fucking Brady's wife etc. Tell Tale, implosion is full bore, he is now entering self-wallow and loathing. Him, Cam and Kaep will be drinking umbrella drinks at home together this time next year, kicking the dog about the good ol' days.

Sad to hear about one of my favorite fantasy guys Vincent Jackson dying at 38. He and Rivers were a scary combo.

Colorado boy. Crazy to hear. No wife, no kids. I imagine he was a pretty lonely soul. I don't want to speculate, but it may have been suicide. That combination can tear down even the strongest of men.Headhunter wrote:Sad to hear about one of my favorite fantasy guys Vincent Jackson dying at 38. He and Rivers were a scary combo.

It was a nice message. But calling for unity after 4 years of tearing down Trump and his supporters is hypocritical. With Springsteen, however, while he didn't care for Trump, he never shamed his supporters. He got annoyed with an interviewer when he asked Bruce if he thought Trump supporters were racist.Reign in Blood wrote:Jason's boy Springsteen can go fuck himself!
With that said, the emergence of Bruce's DUI back in November is not good. lol.

I didn't really pay attention to it. It was pretentious garbage from the jump. Hypocritical don't even matter, in this day and age everybody is flipping the script, gotta avoid that care bear stare.Jason wrote:It was a nice message.
