What are you watching?
Re: What are you watching?
First viewing of Wonder Woman 1984. I just cannot Understand the reasoning behind the decisions that DC makes. Baffling

This movie sucked so bad it became funny. I was laughing out loud by the end. Deep belly laughs at just how fucking terrible this is gets it a C-.Tiggnutz wrote:First viewing of Wonder Woman 1984. I just cannot Understand the reasoning behind the decisions that DC makes. Baffling

Re: What are you watching?
Just noticed HBO Max put it back up. Now I can finally see just how truly bad it is.

I have a thing for Gal Gadot and Linda Carter. (WHAT? Daebo? NO!) Yes it's true.

Damn right you did. I didn't even realize Homie was the Mandalorian for like a month. I sure as shit didn't learn it from watching the movie, that was all IMDB.Tiggnutz wrote:Me too that's why I finished the movieDAEBO wrote:I have a thing for Gal Gadot and Linda Carter. (WHAT? Daebo? Wonder Woman 84
About 25 minutes in, and I'm getting Richard Donner era Superman vibes, like the cheeky hamminess in the action feels like it's throwing back to that. Its odd, and not kinetic like Raimi's Spider-man movies that manage to make that work.

An hour in and ... not much going on except searching for a rock.
This really didn't need to take place in 1984 either. Patty clearly just wanted to play with the style.

But if it wasn't in 1984, then we wouldn't get that great dress up scene with Chris Pine!DancesWithWerewolves wrote:An hour in and ... not much going on except searching for a rock.

Re: What are you watching?
I've been much more invested in the second half than the first, so that's a plus.
