Jakob's Wife wasn't shabby. The tone is uneven, starts off very serious but gets very darkly comedic, then outright silly by the end. Bad makeup on the main vampire, too laughable to be taken seriously anyway. Crampton is excellent. I liked the feminist themes throughout, especially the sheltered wife blossoming into a version more satisfying for herself, it's pretty smartly written in that regard.

It's a classic and has been brought up before over the years. I know I've talked about it, at least.

I've known about it for years, but after reading a bit about it, it seems like it'd be a bit goofy for me to really enjoy.

And speaking of knowing about something for years, I watched Horror House on Highway Five (1985) earlier, and it was moderately awful.

I'm sure it has been talked about at some point. But definitely not recently. I'm glad I bought the steelbook. That butthead scene was gold.

I bought the DVD like 15 years ago at K Mart. Movie sucked. Haven't watched since.

Wise decision.

Updated my list. Only 25 movies left to go, but boy, I am feeling the drag.

Have not watched a film since Sunday. I definitely hit a wall. All I wanted was 50 new watches and 50 rewatches and I will easily get that.

I'm going to watch my new Nightmares Blu-ray when I get home from work today. I really only remember the Emilio Estevez story.
