are you just not into rewatching movies or what? what is the most you've seen a horror film and which was it?
This is exceptionally hard for me to answer.
I couldn't tell you how many times I've seen ANOES or Halloween, or Halloween 4 or Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. Some of these movies I saw as a kid growing up, and unlike today, I didn't keep a detailed listing of each movie I watch (I have such a list for most horror films I've seen since 2016).
Like, for Children of the Corn (1984), I could guess that I've seen it maybe seven times, but there's no real way to know. All I know for sure is I last watched it 10/16/2019
You didn't answer the question, at all.
I answered the second question in a roundabout way. I didn't try to tackle the first.

jason... before there was ever a thread, you said that you had it mostly locked. post your 25!
I had my top 9 or 10 mostly locked. And I have a jumbled list of my likely 25 that need rearranged as all hell.
25. 12. 15. 18. 22. 11. 13... and so on. until you get it sorted and then align the number placement in correct order1
Is this today's lottery numbers?
it's your template, dammit!
I should probably watch/rewatch like 8 movies that could be in contention
This is exactly why I have issues trying to make ranked lists like that. Like, I haven't seen Re-Animator in over ten years. Is it worthy to be in my top 50? I've seen it once, and that was so long ago I remember only a single scene. Hell, I've only seen The Thing (1982) once, and given that was so long ago, it wouldn't even make my top 100 80's horror movies.
It's just all so subjective and hard for me to visualize.
What we have here... are two sad sack lame excuses for horror fans. Boo these two!
What is this turd post?
You reserved spot #1 in the top 25 list and haven't even posted yours.

I'm not saying it is. I'm saying I don't really have a guess. Maybe ANOES? It's one of those movies that I know I've seen at least eight times. But I just can't say for sure. Have I seen it more than Halloween? *shrugs* I have no idea.
Which isn't helpful, but there you go.

I can cobble something together, but it's not an instant process. Can probably get one up at some point on the 4th, maybe tomorrow.

And on rewatching movies.
It's important to understand that I'm just sometimes not in a horror mood. I've gone months without watching horror films. October probably makes up 70% of every horror movie I see in a given year, if not more. It just depends on other things.
Given that fact, I don't have the luxury of going back and watching movies I liked on repeat until I get through other films I need to watch and review. The only reason I watched I Saw the TV Glow twice is because I didn't get a review written the first time I watched it. If I had, I wouldn't have watched it again so soon.
And if this is sounding over-complicated, this is just my thought process. I can't help it.

No, because if I don't get it done before the election, I won't be able to focus on it afterward. I have some county-by-county data I want to start collecting once the results for the election are finalized.

One fence straddler we don't talk about, that I actually have one copy of in my horror section (and one in action), is From Dusk Till Dawn, what say ye? That movie is amazing and imo more worthy of the talk than some others.

Obviously From Dusk Till Dawn is horror in my view. It wouldn't be in my top 250, let alone top 50, though.
