Really disappointed I missed that analogy myself.

Lol, this is the dumbest election year yet. People are already spouting the Clinton line about Kamala, saying "it's her time" which worked so well when Hillary ran. Politics is pure idiocy.

I guess. Joe just endorsed Kamala, which is disastrous, but the democrats in the last several election cycles have shoehorned in whatever candidate that they want ahead of who the public prefers. Bernie getting the brunt of the rigging shenanigans. At least RFK was smart enough to realize he'd never be their nominee.

Just heard a great reason to vote for Kamala: it'd piss of Hillary. I honestly haven't paid much attention to Kamala's views on things as VP's are generally just there as a backup, but HIllary was an awful choice of candidate, so I can see the humor in it.

I couldn't agree more.

Goes without saying, I would hope, that I wasn't going to vote for Biden, and I certainly won't be voting for Harris, should she become the nominee.

Glad that Genocide Joe isn't running again, though. Almost a shame, because had it been a Trump v Biden rematch, third party and indpendent vote totals would have been much higher.

Trump loves you. Jiggy for MAGA.

Trump vs Biden would of been a slam dunk. Kamala moves it back to a coin flip, maybe a slight edge still for Trump.

Kamala isn't remotely popular. The rust belt is crucial and if Kamala is the nominee he would clean sweep the rust belt with ease aside from maybe Wisconsin since it is fortified, meaning they can stuff the ballot boxes again. Many states defortified, making it harder to steal than 2020.

There are rumblings of Hillary or Michelle being shoehorned in.

Having a Democrat who can merely speak puts them back in the game.

One good thing about him dropping out is that it really highlights how dumb it is to make your entire campaign focused on talking shit about the other guy. Basically 90% of Trump's campaign has been about how Biden sucks, so most of his talking points are now meaningless(they were before, too, but people are dumb and eat that shit up). If people would just run on actual policies instead of drama and shit-talking, they wouldn't have this issue.

Definitely a little off topic, but I think my favorite president is probably Theodore Roosevelt.

Both Roosevelts were good presidents imo.
Some of my other favorites are Jefferson & Jackson.

Teddy was a completely transparent, straight to the point, no nonsense guy. Loved the country and the citizens, implemented some of the best consumer protection laws ever and had some of the most powerful speeches by any president. The Man in the Arena passage from his Citizenship in a Republic speech is by far my favorite from any president. And on an unrelated note, he had the most badass survival of an assassination attempt you could imagine.

I don't favor FDR. Jefferson is a great pick and Andrew Jackson grew on me massively over the last 10-20 years. A major cheese connoisseur and probably rolling over in his grave knowing he's on the 20 dollar bill. Lol
