Getting surgery on October 11th. Good news is a week off work to watch horror movies the bad news is getting surgery.

Definitely a good time to kick back with the challenge. Surgery is gonna be fine, easy peasy.

I only participated in the October challenge once and it was the year Luna had that insane list of films she supposedly watched. lol

i don't recall how many she watched, but i can attest that it is possible to watch an insane amount of films over the course of the month if you sacrifice all of your time and most of your sleep and sanity to do so.

And you have to be organized. Like have the movies already lined up ready to go one after another. No messing around looking for movies.
I miss the days of being able to watch tons of movies for the challenge. Stupid work.

Personal best is 127 films watched and I felt like I was pushed to my max. I don't think I watched another horror movie for 2 months afterwards.

November is definitely comedy/drama month.

I have a framed black and white poster of Clint Eastwood in my movie room. My daughter is completely convinced that it's me. As I've gotten older the resemblance is a bit more prominent in his earlier movies I suppose, but it's always nice to feel cooler than you actually are. lol. If I had the hairline I had 15 years ago I might can pull off a decent enough Halloween costume.

Give her time. In about 12+ years she will think you are lame and a total dork.
