People flip flop in politics all the time. I mean, Vance said Trump was Hitler, a fraud, a moral disaster, cultural heroin, etc. and now he's pro-Trump. Why? Cause he thinks it's good for his career. That's it. Who's the moral disaster now?

J.D. was basically a rustbelt pick. That area has been as crucial as ever in the last 3 election cycles, which is why Kamala is considering Josh Shapiro. He's the governor of Pennsylvania and would never even be considered for the position since he's Jewish and a supporter of Israel. He may be announced tomorrow.

The problem with Vance is he is not popular in his state, or anywhere else. And his favorability has only gone down since the announcement.

Tim Walz was the best possible VP pick and makes Trump picking JD Vance even more embarrassing. He will wipe the floor with that buffoon on stage.

Walz is even more left than Harris and from a state that was going to Harris no matter what. Someone more to the center would seem to be the better choice. Nobody gives a shit about vice president debates, it's not changing anyone's mind. The more I learn about Vance it looks to be the same poor decision catering to people who were going to vote for you regardless

Walz was pretty clearly the best pick of the field and is one of the most popular politicians in the country. Well liked by both the left and center. Sends a great message of unity to the coalition.

I am glad the Dems finally got a regular man’s man type instead of another pencil neck lawyer. Rural working class background, hunts and fishes, ex-military, knows how to talk to people, emerged from a historically red district.
