I'll see Call Me By Your Name eventually, it just hasn't been made available yet to rent. I think it's coming soon though on Amazon Video. I'm just hoping it isn't another disappointment but still good-ish movie like Lady Bird or Darkest Hour.

while we're on the subject of oscars for movies with gay characters... philadelphia only got 3 noms and one win. (best actor)

She's an adequate director. I didn't see anything special here in her eye for storytelling that Sofia Coppalla didn't already do 18 years ago.

First time I ever bought the wrong damn region.
*buys again* ... *cries*
At least they're both pretty inexpensive. Would sting mightily if I blew like 30 bucks on the wrong region and it was out of print. :p

they didn't even mention best song. springsteen won. neil young was nominated.

Many. But I noticed "mature audiences only" and I went "Oh, fuck." :p
There's a chance I own another DVD from a different region, but a very tiny chance.
