Not really. My parent's generation, and those before them, idiotically correlated homosexuality with pedophilia, so much so actual videos were made, PSA's, warning boys against men who were too friendly.

The studies are necessary to, in fact, show that there is no connection. Alas, there are still those out there in the fringe right who think otherwise, especially those who are deeply religious.

and they shouldn't glorify or advocate adult and underage relations, same sex or otherwise. but i can't pretend that i haven't liked films with that kind of subject matter, where it relates to a heterosexual couple.
