Wasn't sure if this belonged in the sports board or this board, but Antonio Brown's twitter is one of the best things ever.

I gotta say, both Jason and Headward's dedication to the JFK assassination is one of the more wild things I can fathom in my time. I've seen the movie (back and to the left bay bay!), I've heard some theories like everybody else, but he was president, a ton of fucking people always want to whack these motherfuckers, so some nut went chitty chitty bang bang on his ass. Happens. The fucking rabbit holes you motherfuckers go down is amazing... Visiting Texas to examine 100 year old paint splotches and shiz, Jesus H, the fuck you doings...
I bet you licked those splotches, didn't you!

I touched them with my index finger.
I guess Head and I have no business criticizing conspiracy theories in disparaging fashion.
But at the end of the day, you're wrong. One nut did not go chitty chitty bang bang.

I had a passing interest…then COVID happened and I was in between jobs and I got waaaaay too sucked into a book about the CIA. Four years later, I’ve read 30+ books and spent a stupid amount of time in newspaper archives.

It’s pretty hard for me to envision a reality where Oswald *wasn’t* intelligence. You would have to believe a million little coincidences all aligning perfectly.

I've been fascinated with the assassination ever since my high school history teacher rolled out a VHS tape 20-some-odd years ago on the old box TV with a documentary that eventually showed the uncensored head shot and I was immediately consumed. The high school textbook didn't even give a hint that anything other than Oswald being a lone nut had occurred. I still remember looking at pictures in the textbook and reading about how poor Jack Ruby, distraught with despair for poor Jacqueline Kennedy, decided to take matters into his own hands and kill Oswald so she would be spared of a trial. What a crock. My history teacher was cool as shit though and expanded on the idea that something else may have happened. If not for him I would've went on believing Oswald was just a lone crazy guy who definitely had no ties to intelligence without ever questioning anything the textbook told me. He did a good job of being unbiased and represented both sides, but when the students asked him what he believed he said he leaned toward conspiracy.
Since then I have read absolutely countless news articles, books, websites, etc.. and am really no closer to finding out the truth than I was a year or two into my own digging. After you realize it was almost certainly masterminded by the CIA with multiple shooters, you enter the gray area and it's all best-judgment at that point. Definitely aliens.

Yeah you were definitely the first on HMF to really get into it, I remember you started a couple threads. I’ve been making up for lost time lol. And the assassination is kind of a skeleton key to understanding a lot of Cold War history imo

I think there's an echo in here here
here
The butterfly effect of the Kennedy Assassination and the Cold War is basically unimaginable. I have read that the X-minutes-to-midnight regarding JFK and pulling out of nuclear war was really more like two seconds to midnight and may have contributed to the reason why he was whacked. Imagine if whacking JFK is what saved the world.

A gunman was arrested near his golf course. That’s about the gist of what I heard before I changed the channel,
