We had winds come in, saving us from that (for the moment).Tiggnutz wrote:It's July 1st and we get the first triple digit temperature of the year.

It's hot with humidity thicker than Niki Minaj's ass.
Re: July 1st 2018
That's thick and would explain why it's so hard to breatheJmac Attack wrote:It's hot with humidity thicker than Niki Minaj's ass.

Re: July 1st 2018
Humidity is going down the to 40 percent range finally, but still pretty awful. I should've taken a picture, but I went to pick water up from the store (Rubidoux tap water is fucking gross, don't start with that) and not 5 minutes into walking I looked like I just hopped out of a pool. It's not even that hot right now, but ugh.

Re: July 1st 2018
I say not *that* hot, but it's peaking at 95. I do expect it to break the 117 record this summer though, with the way winter has been gradually shrinking around these parts year by year.

With no AC no way I would not survive itDancesWithWerewolves wrote:I say not *that* hot, but it's peaking at 95. I do expect it to break the 117 record this summer though, with the way winter has been gradually shrinking around these parts year by year.

Same. But I gotta put up with the electricity bill quadrupling when I use it. Because California.Tiggnutz wrote:With no AC no way I would not survive itDancesWithWerewolves wrote:I say not *that* hot, but it's peaking at 95. You have my respect. Do they have that thing where you can pay an average over the year monthly?DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Same. Re: July 1st 2018
We had 100% humidity, earlier. But it dropped to 50% pretty quick.
Re: July 1st 2018
We have an unhealthy air quality red alert because of the heat today I surely pity those without AC

Nope. They have a thing of "we know you're going to use more electricity, but even if you don't, your neighbors will, so we're jacking your rate up."Tiggnutz wrote:You have my respect. Re: July 1st 2018
Highest around here I think gets to 85%, but there's so many areas in SoCal, and they all differ, most assume my area doesn't get humid. Gets annoying anytime I do complain about it, someone from Florida or Texas needs to claim I shouldn't complain, when I have every right to. Just because they have it worse, does not mean the right to complain is a tropheyJmac Attack wrote:We had 100% humidity, earlier. But it dropped to 50% pretty quick.

That sucks and even that average thing screws people most of the timeDancesWithWerewolves wrote:Nope. I don't run my ac because it would ruin me at work. Still in a hoodie. Thug life.Tiggnutz wrote:We have an unhealthy air quality red alert because of the heat today I surely pity those without AC
