So I think I reached elite nerd status last night with some friends. Was watching Ready Player One with some friends, and while it's a pop culture cornucopia, and you say something here or there, you generally shut the fuck up, watch the movie. But then came the scene where the Iron Giant is bridging over lava and letting the other little ones pass across him. I say "I wonder if he falls in if he'll do a Terminator and give a thumbs up?"... Sure as shit, 10 seconds later that's exactly what happened and I go Fuck Yeah!, and everyone just looks at me, either smiling or with a look of "You fucking nerd". Winning.

End result: Movie is pretty cool, loved the homages, should be watched in a group environment though.

Got some Shrimp and Crablegs for dinner. I am going to try and make drawn butter for the first time. Seems simple enough. I can grill with the best of them, but I am a shitty cook in the kitchen .

And i was out walking around in this shit. Needed to go to the store for new swim trunks, got pissed to find the Sport Chalet closed, so I looked at Target, and they had the shitty tacky trunks, fuck that. Walked all the way down to Kohls, and managed to find a decent pair in my size. Dark blue, solid color. Sad that shit's hard to find now.

We've had the humidity of your area up here for the last few weeks. I can't decide what's worse, the dry heat or the humid heat. lol. The dry heat fucks with my head and gives me headaches, but the humidity lingers into the night and the mugginess sucks.
