You're not missing much. It's basically a drama with a solid 15-minute finale.Tiggnutz wrote:I haven't seen the original Carrie in probably 10 maybe 15 years maybe longer.
I'm still game. I love the OG.Tiggnutz wrote:I haven't seen the original Carrie in probably 10 maybe 15 years maybe longer.

it's a horror movie. get over it.Jigsaw wrote:You're not missing much. It's basically a drama with a solid 15-minute finale.Tiggnutz wrote:I haven't seen the original Carrie in probably 10 maybe 15 years maybe longer.
I didn't mean to imply I thought it wasn't horror. It definitely is. The drama is a lot more prevalent, though, until we get to the finale. At least in my ever-popular view.zombie wrote:it's a horror movie. get over it.Jigsaw wrote:You're not missing much. Agreed on both counts. When the fuck did we start having similar views on films?Jigsaw wrote:In my (limited) defense, I wasn't a big fan of the novel either (though I did think the narrative structure was very unique). Still, any book (or movie) that portrays the dangers of extremist religious belief is okay with me.
