Yo yo yo, how's everyone doing today?

Currently work on updating some reviews. Might watch a movie later today (have to watch five before the podcast on Friday), not sure yet. Otherwise, another fun, exciting day.

Anyone got any movies plans for the day?

On a side-note, this guy examines a lot of horror movies, from Hostel, Wolf Creek, Brightburn, The Fog, the Maniac remake, to Candyman, Freddy vs. Jason, Midsommar and Lake Mungo. Definitely a lot of interesting content to look through.

I've watched most of this guy's stuff. While some of it is interesting, he tends to just kinda ramble on. His recent one on the Poughkeepsie Tapes was decent, though.

I was considering watching his Poughkeepsie Tapes video, but after seeing that movie twice, it doesn't really do that much for me. Still, might give it a look at some point.

That's kinda the point of his video. The film isn't great, but it delivers what it sets out do. I like the film, but it doesn't have much rewatchability.

Is that the 2000 Japanese Pyrokinesis or the 2018 South Korean one? Not sure why I'm asking - I haven't seen either one. :P

If that's the 2019 Lodge, that did look interesting. Haven't heard too much about it, but along with Sea Fever and Color Out of Space, I will admit to being curious.

Yeah, the 2000 one and it was okay.

The Lodge 2019 or 2020 since it did get released for a limited time this year. Just not at any theaters around me. I hope it's better than Goodnight Mommy as it's from the same Directors.

Been doing sort of a Vamp Fest here, but nothing in particular for today. A few are on reserve for when Alli gets back from her family, so no OG Fright Night, Bram Stoker's Dracula or Interview With the Vampire.

Might do John Carpenter's Vampires, Lost Boys, and Vamp today.

I am going up to my gameshop to give them some money, now that I know they're actually open, so I wouldn't start until I get back.

Nevermind about my gameshop trip. They're making it extremely complicated, and their DnD 5e inventory is low (they have a google spreadsheet for us to look at), with none of the items I was looking to get. *shrug* oh well.

i think you would. by the director of breakfast at tiffany's and the pink panther, with lee remick. but it's a departure from that kind of film. i like it a lot. kind of lynchian a little bit. i think he was inspired by the film, in some aspects.
