As I suspected, EDD (Unemployment) did not take out the 10% from the extra bumps on top of the amount they took out to withhold for Federal taxes. I just got reemed. I wasn't sure if the bumps counted like the Stimulus (which is proven now as NOT taxed) but nope, these are definitely taxed and why the gov' didn't cut into it when I checked off to withhold for Federal taxes I don't know. Ugh.
It mostly hurt because it shot me into a different income bracket when combined with my job. Though, with the amount I get back from state, I really am only paying about $90, so it's not *that* bad.
