Big Bear Vacation Info

Post by Jason »

Heard more than a couple of peeps here talking about wanting to vacation out here at some point. There are hundreds upon hundreds of affordable cabin rental options in Big Bear. I got sucked into checking it out for a while. Lots of sweet options. I'll be planning a stay out there some time soon. Preferably in the winter, maybe even this winter. A couples vacation is probably the best idea. Take a group of 2, 3, 4 couples, split the bill and rent a cabin for a few days or weeks. This option would be great for me if I weren't single. :p

Interestingly enough, the future Mrs. Foo and I were just talking about our honeymoon destination. Will check this out and see what she thinks. Pretty sure no beach is no bueno though.

There's a lake. :p

You're not too far off from Newport, Venice, Huntington, etc... Wouldn't even be a two hour drive from Big Bear to hit them up.

I will definitely look into it. One consideration is going to be the weather in January/february.

Oh God yes. Glad Ceri did most of the choices and that we both wanted it to be a cheap wedding. What are you staring down at the moment.

Because we are waiting for approval, and then have 90 days once she is here to get married, it is gonna have to be something simple, which I want anyway. She is into family, so she wants a full blown thing in terms of guests.

Have you ever seen the show Modern Family? I am basically Al Bundy and she is the younger latin chick.

Best show ever. Also congrats if you got someone half as hot as Sofia Vergara.

Baseball? Holy hell. Assuming she likes butt stuff, this is your perfect woman in every regard. Never let her go, Fooskey. Wedding, honeymoon, then a lifetime of bliss. What's her stance on Friday the 13th.

She likes butt stuff sometimes but she is selective about her horror. She is more likely to see an Annabelle movie than a slasher. Huge Game of Thrones fan (which I have never seen). Plus she is a good dentist, but constantly sticking her finger in people's mouths is a little awkward.

Game Of Thrones is a cultural phenomenon. You should jump into the wonder. Although baseball provides hours and hours of conversation, I'm told.

She's very pretty. Congrats on finding a fantastic fiancée.

Baseball is incredible, Seb. Take the time to learn and understand it. It's worth it.

I love baseball. As a singular game or the playoffs. Love it.

I just hate the MLB season and length of it.

It is our little sitcom. Beautiful dentist marries dumpy burger flipper, and our crazy neighbors are my aunt and her alcoholic caregiver in the basement.
