im skipping the ninth cause it is already the tenth here

I made cupcakes.



I pulled one out to cut to show the middle, but it cut horribly cause the knife was dull. I can only confirm the meringue topping and the cupcake itself are really good.

It's a lemon cupcake with lemon curd and blackberry filling and vanilla meringue on top. I don't like blackberries, so I can't say if the middle is good or not cause I didn't try any cause I tainted it with blackberries. The ladies like blackberries though, so they should love 'em.

I tend to find most frosting too sweet for me, so I usually just do whipped cream and fruit when I make cakes of any kind. I was worried meringue on a cupcake wouldn't turn out right, but it turned out pretty good, no shrinkage, no beading, at worst it's not wanting to stay on well but I think that could be remedied with piping it on to the cupcake tightly rather than just plopping spoonfuls of it on like I did

fresh fruit and cake are my favorite combo. Also pie. I love fruit pie filling, but I don't like pie crusts normally (it has to be a really well made pie crust for me to like it, and sadly those are hard to come by)

I keep seeing that damn Happy Death Day trailer. And aside from it looking like it pulls too hard from Groundhogs Day, I know I won't see the damn movie because of that damn song that's going to keep waking her up. Don't give a shit if the buzz winds up good or not, the song repeating in the trailer was bad enough.
