Alfred Hitchcock, Martin Scorsese, Howard Hawks, John Carpenter, John Huston and I feel like I’m disrespecting a dozen legends

QT needs to quit worrying about the number 10 and just keeping dishing out fuckin bangers.

His whole 10 movie thing is built on the BS premise that directors suck when they’re old. That was more (still not but more) true when the Golden Age guys tried to extend their careers into the New Hollywood era but now? lol Scorsese can’t stop making masterpieces

Enh, I wouldn't call Irishman nor Killers masterpieces, Fincher has dropped off a god damn cliff, and Once Upon a Time wasn't that great for QT to be fucking around like he is. I see a lot of De Palma coming but not sure Cruise will be around to help.

Gibson's a pretty fantastic director, and I've always liked his acting. He's the only one I think could compete with Eastwood for the actor/director combo level.

I would give Stallone some play. I think the 3 of them would make a really good movie.
