Seven Days in May - highly recommended. You might find it boring, but I personally enjoyed it more than Three Days of the Condor (though to be fair, they're quite different in style).

That’s a good one. Also quite interesting how invested JFK personally was in that movie being made. Hmmmmm

YOU'RE A NIGHTCRAWLER! A PEDDLER!

That's a quote I actually use as often as I can. Quality film, and definitely interesting from a political perspective.

the dune movies were great.

the two big standouts on the older side are paper moon and three days of the condor, so far. the sting was cool too.

Nice. There are a few other directors on the western list and a few other Hawks and Ford movies (non-western) I would recommend:

Hawks:

Only Angels Have Wings
Bringing Up Baby
His Girl Friday
To Have and Have Not
The Big Sleep

Ford:

The Grapes of Wrath
How Green was My Valley
The Quiet Man

I’ve found it’s very divisive. I love it. GOAT soundtrack, the sweetest bike, great time capsule.

Getting stoned and watching Turner Classic during the Super Bowl sounds a lot more fun than watching the Super Bowl.

TCM is so GOATed it’s stupid. Their Saturday night lineup this weekend is The Sting, Bonnie and Clyde, Double Indemnity and The Asphalt Jungle. Just ridiculous.
