Favorite Friday the 13th?
Favorite Friday the 13th?
Must've watched this series at least 15 times in my life. The list fluctuated a lot until the last 5 or so marathons. Jason Lives was originally my favorite, but I grew out of it and The Final Chapter took over. Jason Lives wouldn't quite make the top 5 anymore, I don't think. My vote is The Final Chapter.

Voted Final Chapter. Better than the first three, more solidly done, and consistent overall fun.

Final Chapter. Everything a slasher movie should be right there, without going goofy.

Last time I watched the series my pick changed from 6 to 2. I'll see if that changes again next month.

Between 4 and 5, for me. I need to rewatch the series. I have watched Freddy Vs Jason, parts 4, 3, and the first one recently.

Part 4 is easily the best, followed by part 3. All you Jason Lives fuckers need to GFY.

If it wasn't for part V, it would easily be the best. The titties in V bump it up a notch.Reign in Blood wrote:Part 4 is easily the best, followed by part 3. All you Jason Lives fuckers need to GFY.

True.
But music is almost always ace in a Friday flick.

At least that's a good excuse for preference over IV. Jason Lives doesn't even have titties!Jmac Attack wrote:If it wasn't for part V, it would easily be the best. This. I am not completely offended by part 6 love, though. When someone says part 7, I want to smash puppies with hammers, however. It is like someone saying the best burger they have ever eaten is a Big Mac that they heated up in the microwave.

3..4..5
Excellent entry..Perfection..Excellent Entry
I don't hate 6 because it is well made, faithful to the story, and breathes new life into the series. 7 is a direct to video quality production seemingly done by people who saw clips of the series but were not fans. Started the "Jason Anthology" films that finished out the series.

7 definitely has a direct-to-video quality. Make-up is still top notch, but the rest of the production does feel made-for-tv. With boobs.Foo wrote:3..4..5
