Song of the day. I was introduced to this song back in 2004 when The Girl Next Door came out. I rented it from the video store and had an unhealthy obsession with Elisha Cuthbert during the summer of that year. This song was the stand out of the movie for me and begins playing as the main character sees her for the first time. For whatever reason, I thought the song was brand new and simply did a tremendous job trying to sound like an 80s tune. Turns out it is an 80s tune, as I found out a couple years later.
