I feel no man except for myself...occasionally when the mood strikes or I'm alone for more than 6 minutes :P

Impeccable Metallica. How many takes do you think he tried before finally saying "Yeah. This is the one"...

I do like the comment: "That's Metallica sending a voicemail to Napster headquarters (2003)". Lmao

I wonder if that was sent in by Buttfucker 3000.

The only thing from this video I think he got wrong was his justification of criticism from the audience to the survivor for not going the extra mile and ensuring the killer is dead, using Alice from the original Friday the 13th as an example. It's no secret that the purest character, often the female, tends to be the lone survivor in the end. People like that generally don't have it in them to hurt a bug let alone kill another human. I see Friday the 13th as a good example of the killer of the movie pushing the purity of the survivor over the edge and making her do the unthinkable.

If that's the case, we ain't got no movies. Maybe it's a catch-22 because I've seen them all, but I be dipping the fuck out of almost all the dumb ass situations that befall our genre characters. :P

it's easy to judge people in a bad situation onscreen. a lot of people would fall the same way in similar circumstances.

The Myers sequels totally water down everything in a way other slasher franchise sequels don’t. I think Season of the Witch is the only sequel whose existence I can justify, because the anthology series angle is cool as fuck. The others are unnecessary.

I view the first Halloween as completely independent of everything that comes later. Even with something like TCM 2 that totally subverts TCM, that’s a bold and exciting creative choice. The Myers sequels do nothing remotely as interesting.

I mean more so it wouldn't even hold water. You want me to stay in this piece of shit cabin/house that is supposedly haunted/being stalked by some crazy killer/ghost or summat? Is that right? No. How about I go stay at a suite at the Bellagio and gamble and you fuck around with that shit assholes, not happening. :yee:

Yeah. The realism in horrifying situations makes the horror movie itself even better.

This is why it's generally the female as the lone survivor in the end. It makes the film more terrifying. It's harder to be scared for a grown man than a female.

the original halloween is leagues better than the myers sequels/remakes. i'm not sure that other slasher sequels didn't also fell short of their original film though.
