I admit that I am enjoying the cooler climate here on the East Coast. But, I will be happy once our time is done here.

Been thinking about the trajectory of my TV show watchings and the butterfly effect over the years. Breaking Bad ended in 2013 and like a lost puppy I bounced around binge watching different TV dramas. Sons of Anarchy, True Detective Season One, and all the while I had been collecting Game of Thrones awaiting for the show to end. I watched the first season to ensure it's a show I would likely enjoy and decided I would buy the DVDs and then watch the entire show when it finally ended. I would have almost certainly began watching Game of Thrones from the very beginning (rewatching season one) the moment the show ended and the final season was released on physical media, except the collective outcry of disappointment not just on here, but the entire world, shied me away from watching it at all. lol. I still haven't seen anything past season one. The show has been spoiled for me more than once but it's been so long that I wouldn't be able to recall what they even were. Every once in a while I debate watching it but the glooming disappointment of the final season always overpowers my urge to pop it in and I do other shit instead.

If Game of Thrones hadn't ended so blandly (according to basically everyone), I may not have gotten the idea to do a sitcom wheel. :P

I debated pausing my Sitcom Wheel to binge watch Game of Thrones recently, and that's when I was reminded that this has been a recurring theme of mine since the show ended six years ago.

• See the complete series of Game of Thrones sitting on shelf
• Feel slight excitement at the idea of watching the entire show
• Immediately remember everyone hated the way it ended
• Scrap the idea

I've stated before that for me nothing can rival the first 6 seasons of Game of Thrones.
