FIRST OF OCTOBER
It's here, rev up your challenge engines and start your watching. I managed a midnight film, and a morning(ish) hellraiser. Something that I could pause frequently and not feel cheated. Have also technically seen the Emoji Movie today. Can't call that horror, though. Kids liked it. I thought it was pretty good too.

It's strange, a lot of kids movies I end up liking as much as anything because the kids like them and it feels like a "family moment". The content almost becomes irrelevant to my enjoyment of the film.Slaughterhouserock wrote:showa58taro wrote:Have also technically seen the Emoji Movie today. Can't call that horror, though. Enh, whatever floats your boat, I guess. I'll never understand people and their kids.

Re: FIRST OF OCTOBER
Not a surprise. The me before I had kids would definitely not have had the kind of life the me after the kids were born has. Different priorities, feelings, and tastes. Makes no sense why its so different, but it definitely is.Slaughterhouserock wrote:showa58taro wrote:It's strange, a lot of kids movies I end up liking as much as anything because the kids like them and it feels like a "family moment".
