I'm one of those people. I love my horror film collection and will always add more physical media to it. I don't care much for streaming and only have a select few services. I prefer to watch the movies I truly love in my media room on blu ray/4K. Guess I'm just old school

There's something special IMO about owning a physical copy of a film, especially if it's a limited edition or whatever. The bulk of my horror collection is films from the 80's and early 90's stuff. Some of them came with poster's and shit from Shout Factory which was nice.

The idea is that the film is preserved in the movie you buy and you're not subjected to whatever weird edits the people with the rights decide to make to the film. I always prefer watching it the way the director intended. And those are usually the edits that occur in the bluray/dvd era. Dumb and Dumber might be my favorite comedy and I haven't bought the bluray because they only released the unrated edition, which is usually the best way to watch a movie but the scenes that are added just didn't really work for the movie. Theatrical is the only way to watch Dumb and Dumber.

Did we talk about Possession? The 1981 movie? What did you think of that? I can't remember if we talked about it or not.
