I have really stepped up my horror physical media collecting. I think it's some sort of midlife crisis thing lol

I guess I've been in a midlife crisis since I was like 15. Lmao.

I started out buying VHS and right as I began building a nice collection, DVD took over and I was devastated for a while but I came around to DVDs pretty quickly.

I have somewhere around 3-4,000 titles on bluray/DVD and lots of TV shows. Most of my physical media buying is upgrading a lot of my older DVDs to more upscale and nicer bluray sets.

Where do you keep that many?

The house I bought in 2021 converted the back patio to an add on room. This is the picture I took when I moved in after I finished getting it painted and setting up the shelves. This is basically what it looks like now apart from two flat screens and a few other things here and there. Plus hundreds more titles now.

I keep my horror DVDs boxed up in my basement. I gave all my non horror DVDs to my sister. I have one shelf that I keep my horror Blu-ray and 4k UHDs on.

Yes, I am here now. I would have updated this morning but things went from bad to worse quick. It's been 2 weeks and she is still in a tremendous amount of pain, and our fucknut doctor's won't give any pain pills. Junkies get them no problem, but out on a major surgery, you get nothing, I hate our medical. She hasn't been eating much at all because everything makes her nauseous, equal parts pain and digestive track trying to assimilate. But we were making do. Then OF COURSE, this morning her incision opened up in the shower, ugh. And the doc now won't see her until tomorrow. Not sure how she's gonna make it to the bathroom, but it will be a fun adventure I'm sure. Blood and pain is the update, but she's strong and will be ok sometime soon, I'm sure of it, just taking some detours on this road to recovery.

Fuckballs, man. I hope she pulls through.
