evil dead 2 might undo your wound theory. the thing was crashing around and making noise. not possessing anyone even with obvious wounds. ash even says it's trying to get into our world. could be that. or could just be toying with them. take your pick.

I mainly attributed that to the first and never thought of it as a whole franchise thing. Let me know what you think when you watch the first.

May end up rewatching this month. I remember liking it, had a kinda crazy twist right?

I recommend The Body Snatcher

I second this. The Body Snatcher is one of the few highlights of the 1940's.

also she seems to have her own consciousness even after being cut up. until after they come back to the cabin. it doesn't take so long with linda. is cheryl more strong willed or was it just letting her have her own consciousness while it was just laying dormant? i'm probably overthinking this, but you wanted me to.
