I think DS9 is the black sheep of the series due to it being a space station. I personally love it, but I can see how that might deter them from making cameos. And I wasn't much of a fan of Voyager, so I could do without seeing Janeway again(Seven was one of the only good characters imo, so I don't mind her showing up).Lazerus wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2024 1:50 pm I enjoyed Discovery, especially the 1st season and the 4th & 5th. Seasons 2 and 3 are a hit and miss.
I like SNW for the most part but I am not a fan of the episodic format and the second season was a bit bumpy.
Picard was good, the second season was wasted on that dumb time travel arc but the 1st and 3rd are solid. My only complaint is that these new showrunners seem to hate DS9. I mean we've got cameos and guest appearances by more than one character from Voyager buy ZERO from DS9. I was actually surprised they involved The Dominion in Picard's last season.

DS9 will always be my favorite. Loved the characters, the Dominion War arc is my personal favorite Trek storyline. The Bajorian people and the overall development of that story. I could go on and on but I feel at least one character from DS9 could have shown up. Quark would have probably been the easiest to explain.
THE CLOSEST WE WILL EVER GET TO ROCK VS. ROMAN

Re: December 5th 2024
Question (for Head mainly, probably), if one wanted to get caught up through the Drake/Lamar beef, which tracks do I listen to and in what order?

They’ve been sending little shots at each other for 10 years but the timeline of direct disses:
Like That - just the Kendrick verse (March 22nd)
Push Ups - Drake (April 19th)
Taylor Made Freestyle - Drake (April 24th)
Euphoria - Kendrick (April 30th)
6:16 in LA - Kendrick (May 3rd)
Family Matters - Drake (May 3rd)
Meet the Grahams - Kendrick (May 3rd)
Not Like Us - Kendrick (May 4th)

There you go. Recommend using Genius.com for lyrics context because they are reference-heavy to contemporary rap stuff you probably don’t follow

I often watch people react to songs on youtube and get a lot of information from some of the guys on there as they decipher lyrics. Lost in Vegas is the best channel, in my opinion.Headhunter wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2024 5:50 pm There you go. As a part time hip-hop fan I can say without question that this list is utter garbage.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2024 5:54 pmWe should both smoke a fatty, sit back and watch... how amazingly disappointed J is gonna be to any of the hooplah.Headhunter wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2024 5:50 pm There you go. The real question is: How many DeGrassi references is Lamar gonna make?Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2024 5:54 pmWe should both smoke a fatty, sit back and watch... how amazingly disappointed J is gonna be to any of the hooplah.Headhunter wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2024 5:50 pm There you go. A lot of egregious things here but the idea that there have been 11 rappers better than Biggie made me laugh the hardest.Jason wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2024 5:56 pmAs a part time hip-hop fan I can say without question that this list is utter garbage.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2024 5:54 pmWe should both smoke a fatty, sit back and watch... how amazingly disappointed J is gonna be to any of the hooplah.Headhunter wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2024 5:50 pm There you go.
