It is solid. It's rep, I believe, stems from how great Val is as Doc Holiday. The rest is just solid in general.

If you watch the documentary Val (I recommend everyone does it's fantastic) you can see how Val prepped for his role as Doc Holiday. He took his craft seriously

I've never been big on the 6 hour Spaghetti westerns and fuck Howard Hacks! Tombstone is my daisy all day.

Yeah I like Tombstone but its outsized reputation is 100% Kilmer.
