August 1st 2018a
Re: August 1st 2018a
August! Sheesh this summer flew by. I'm ready for fall. Not like we get much cooler weather until November but I still like all that comes with it.
Been waiting for tomorrow though! Going in for abdominal surgery. They are going to hopefully fix me so that it doesn't hurt when I eat!! Lost a ton of weight since last December because eating is usually painful. They think my organs are twisted around each other. Apparently even under a test that I was asleep/sedated with propofol, I reacted and had to be restrained when they hit the area where it hurts. Still scary to let someone put you to sleep and have them digging through your organs. *cringes*

Took the day off to spend with the kids and wife. I don't get to see them anymore. The youngest is now 16. They are all too old to hang out with dorky dad/stepdad.
Amber's now a freelance makeup artist and works weekends. I never see her. However, I'm proud that she took the leap, and is now in high demand and is doing amazing. She's even been scouted to do makeup for things like BuzzFeed and News organizations. But she had to quit her good paying job, to do what she loves. It was scary, but that's what ya gotta do sometimes to do what ya love for a living. Now she makes more than ever. Life is good. Just miss my kids and wife sometimes. (But not all the time lmao)

Dad had 2 family members on his side do a genetic test. It came back 98% Italian and 2% Jewish on both tests. I didn't even know it could come back Jewish!

That is so great for Amber. Makeup is fun. One of the girls from my class did that for weddings on the side and enjoyed it. I'll never forget when my sister had someone come in to do her makeup for her 2nd wedding. The first few colors on her face made her look insane and I thought holy shit she is going to look like a melted crayon box, but 30 minutes later she looked so beautiful. It's definitely a skill, though if I was to do someone's makeup they would look like Captain Spaulding.Jmac Attack wrote:Took the day off to spend with the kids and wife. Oh shut the fuck up, lol. It was a joke. I made fun of the 57 states too because gaffes are funny. Dubya had a million of them. All comedic gold.Foo wrote:I know what you are referring to, but if you pay by check it mak certain purchases you may be asked to show ID. I was making fun of Trump's gaffe he made. Foo makes a great point, but Trump didn't expand on the whole ID thing. Can't make fun of anything anymore, lmao.Ava wrote:Geez. She worked 4 hours the other day. Had to drive an hour and a half. But they paid her $400, after taxes. She's definitely my sugar momma!Ava wrote:That is so great for Amber. Makeup is fun. I know absolutely nothing about makeup. She wants to experiment on me, and I'm like....."that's just too gay for me!". I'm such a dude haha

What's y'all's favorite cheese? I used to hate blue cheese, but love it now. As a kid, I loved American. Now, I can only eat American on burgers. And on eggs. I love a good sharp cheddar, but want to experience other cheeses.
